Rice Tariffication Law (#RTL) gave us #RCEF to help rice farmers become competitive, and sourced from tariff on imported rice. It provides for #Machineries to reduce production cost P5B a year - #PhilMech, #InbredSeeds thru #PhilRice to make them Produce #highqualityinbredrice and more per hectare and make them produce their own seeds later P3B/year; #CheapCredit from #LandBank and #DBP P1B/year and training through #ATI, #Tesda, #PhilMech and #PhilRice. This is from 2019-2024. This is aside from the Dept of Agriculture's #NationalRiceProgram under the Office of the Secretary that has P15.5B since 1986.
