Senator Cynthia Villar attended the opening program of the 16th International Food Exhibition (IFEX) Philippines May 26, 2023, 10AM, World Trade Center with the theme: Share the Love for Global Flavors. It features 500 or more local and foreign exhibitors and serves as a platform for Filipino businesses to network with other businesses globally, expanding their reach and opening new opportunities for our food and agriculture industry. Featured in one of the booths is DTIs Philippine coconut products under Republic Act No. 11524, or the “Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act”, signed by President Duterte last February 26, 2021, and took effect on March 13, 2021 which the Senator authored.
