The Philippine Coconut Authority led the launching of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (#CFIDP) On-Farm Coconut Hybridization Project in Purisima, Manapla, Negros Occidental. The CFIDP is how to operationalize Republic Act 11524, better known as the Coconut Farmers and Industry Fund Act authored by Senator Cynthia Villar who gave her virtual message.
CFIDP aims to increase the income and productivity of the 2.5 million coconut farmers in the country; promote poverty alleviation.
