DA-PHilMech held a groundbreaking ceremony under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan-Shared Processing Facilities (CFIDP-SPF) at Brgy. Sapal, San Lorenzo Guimaras.
Guinaras Coconut Farmers Agriculture Cooperative was granted a White Copra and RBDO Processing Center that could produced 500 nuts/ day as input capacity.
The shared facilities are community based enterprise, applying practical solutions on coconut processing system and distribution towards developing the local industry.
