Livestock Philippines 2015

On June 24-26, Livestock Philippines 2015 will create another milestone at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Manila as it once more unveils a wide array of innovative technologies and insightful seminars and conferences in animal health, feed, livestock and meat production.

The show’s “Farm-to-Shelf” theme will also be the springboard from which three events will rise: Feeds Expo Philippines 2015; Food Processing and Packaging Philippines 2015 and PhilMeat 2015 Expo and Technical Seminar. Feed Expo 2015 will focus on animal feeds and feed ingredients, additives, supplements and premixes, feed quality control and feed manufacturing. Food Processing and Packaging Expo 2015 will showcase the newest trends on food processing, ingredients and packaging; and PhilMeat 2015 will present the latest innovations on meat processing and packaging.

The success of Livestock Philippines series has drawn much interest from the in- ternational agribusiness community that almost 80% of the exhibitors for this year’s edition are foreign companies.

A total of more than 2,000 square meters of the exhibition area of Livestock Philippines 2015 are already occupied from the 1,137 square meters during the 2013 edition. The increase in floor area is an indication that Livestock Philippines is gaining the reputation as one of Asia’s most prestigious livestock shows. There will be more than 200 brands joining in this event which are from 18 countries. With the development of internation- al participation in the show, UBM believes that it will bring new products and technology to Philippines' livestock industry.

One of the show’s main highlights is the 1st ASEAN Food Conference 2015 in line with the recently-implemented ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) where ten ASEAN countries are set to become a single market base of trade, labor and investments. The conference is expected to gather industry stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities of the AEC.
