Shows a farmer from Tacloban City bringing his harvest of vegetables as offering during a special mass offered by the Department of Agriculture at Eastern Visayas State University-Tacloban Campus on 4 November 2014 for the ongoing rehabilitation efforts in Eastern Visayas and other Yolanda-affected areas. Other farmers brought harvests of rice and fruits, showing the sustained restoration of their livelihood almost exactly one year after the super typhoon hit the region and the rest of central Philippines.
Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala, who also took part in the mass, later led the distribution of additional production assistance for the agri-fishery sector in Leyte and other provinces worth P176 million, including 35 units of four-wheel drive tractors value at around P94 million.
