MANILA, Philippines – The findings and policy recommendations of the study titled “An Assessment of Smuggling of Selected Agricultural Commodities in the Philippines” funded by the Philippine Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR) and implemented by the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) were presented at the Fifth Public Hearing of the Philippine Senate Committee on Agriculture and Food, chaired by Senator Cynthia Villar, on 24 February 2014 at the Senate.
